FIU’s Lamont Green Jr. brings verified edge-rush pop and backfield disruption
Lamont Green Jr. is a 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive lineman whose best trait is finishing plays in the backfield: his high school resume included 20 sacks and 29 tackles for loss as a senior, and he was a consensus four-star edge prospect out of Gulliver Prep. At FIU, he offers upside as an explosive, bendy pass rusher with quick acceleration and strong finesse-move ratings, making him a fit for teams that want pressure off the edge rather than a pure space-eater. He also has limited college production so far, so the appeal is ceiling and disruption, not proven volume yet.
