young Texas Wesleyan linebacker with fresh upside
Braylon Powell appears to be a freshman OLB/LB for Texas Wesleyan in 2026, listed at 6'1" and 205 pounds, which suggests a compact build suited for downhill play and special-teams value. The big story is projection: he’s early in his college career, so the appeal is in his frame, development runway, and potential to add range and physicality rather than a long stat trail. If your team wants a young defender who can grow into a reliable, high-motor piece, Powell is an interesting watch.
