Michael Almond Brings Versatile Special-Teams Depth to South Carolina
Michael Almond is listed by South Carolina as a **redshirt senior K/P**, and his profile suggests the kind of versatile special-teams insurance coaches value: size, flexibility, and the ability to handle both kicking and punting duties[6]. Publicly available team and stat pages do not show a strong recent game-log picture, so the biggest takeaway is roster fit rather than box-score production[1][2][6]. If you need a dependable specialist with multiple pathways to help on special teams, Almond is the type of low-drama, position-flexible option that can stabilize a depth chart[4][6].
