Mercer guard James Odoms brings scoring punch and versatile rebounding
James Odoms is a 6'5" Mercer guard whose profile suggests a reliable two-way backcourt piece: in the season reflected by ESPN, he averaged 13.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while shooting 39.8% from the field. His best differentiator is size for the guard spot, which can help him finish through contact, rebound outside his position, and defend multiple backcourt matchups. If your team wants a physical, experienced guard who can contribute across categories rather than a pure specialist, Odoms is worth a look.
