steady, defense-first guard with real Gamecock pedigree
Ebony Wilson brings compact guard size, toughness, and a defense-minded, team-first style that fits South Carolina’s pressure-and-depth identity. In her South Carolina career, she played in 31 games in the 2011-12 season and posted 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game on 48.9% shooting, showing efficiency over volume. Her value is less about headline scoring and more about reliability, discipline, and doing the gritty stuff that winning teams notice. If a roster needs a low-ego guard who competes and can survive physical SEC basketball, she’s the right kind of sneaky useful.
