In the 2024-25 season, Dominic Gooden played only 6 games for Northern Illinois, averaging 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists in about 12 minutes per game, so the sample is tiny but the upside is real[1][2]. He came to NIU after a monster two-year run at Hillsborough Community College, where he averaged 26.1 points, 5.6 assists and 5.3 rebounds as a sophomore and shot 81.3% from the free-throw line, which screams combo-guard polish and shot-creation juice[3].
