Stephanie Haas was a high-IQ, two-way guard who turned FGCU into a winning machine
In the 2015-16 season, Stephanie Haas was the kind of guard coaches love: steady, smart, and relentlessly productive, averaging 7.8 points per game and finishing her FGCU career with 1,138 points, 414 field goals, 199 free throws made, and 365 rebounds. She was a two-time ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year, which says plenty about her discipline and toughness, and she played in 138 games for a program that won at an 82.9% clip during her career. In short: versatile, dependable, and the sort of player who makes a team cleaner and harder to beat.
