Jacksonville freshman outfielder Drew Cobb brings speed, upside, and lineup energy
Drew Cobb enters Jacksonville as a freshman outfielder with a strong speed-based profile and room to develop into a disruptive all-around piece. His high school résumé shows production on the basepaths and solid multi-sport competitiveness, while recruiting profiles point to a lean, athletic frame and playable tools in the outfield. He looks like the kind of player who can add value with defense, hustle, and pressure on the defense, making him a good fit for a program that wants athleticism and upside more than a polished finished product.
