Quinnipiac’s Hard-Nosed Interior Anchor
Tara McCaig is a familiar name from Quinnipiac women’s basketball history, but available public stats in the current database do not show a 2025-26 player profile for her, so there isn’t verified recent production to cite. Historically, she was a center who brought size and interior presence, the kind of low-maintenance paint piece coaches usually love for screening, rebounding, and physicality. If this is the same Tara McCaig, the fit question hinges on whether a team needs a traditional post who does the dirty work rather than a high-usage scorer.
