Air Force’s steady, do-it-all guard with coach-grade IQ
Sid Tomes is best known as a smart, versatile guard who was a three-year starter and team co-captain for Air Force, finishing his Falcons career with 537 points and 200 assists in 110 games. In the 2019-20 season, he played all 32 games, averaged 6.0 points and 2.5 assists, and shot 84.6% from the free-throw line, showing the kind of poise and efficiency coaches love. His value is less flashy stat-chasing and more reliability, leadership, and clean decision-making—very much the glue-guy archetype with real command of the floor.
