Mia Mitchell is Rutgers’ senior power bat with timely thump
In the 2026 season, Mia Mitchell hit .294 with a .906 OPS, 7 home runs, 32 RBIs and 10 doubles for Rutgers, giving the Scarlet Knights a seasoned outfield bat who can change a game in one swing.[1][10] She flashed real punch in early-season showcases, including a 4-for-6 day with two doubles, two homers, six RBIs and four runs scored against FGCU, and finished with multiple multi-RBI outings that underline her fit as a middle-order run producer.[2][4][14] Beyond the numbers, she brings senior poise, transfer experience from Buffalo, and a reputation for showing up in big spots—exactly the kind of low-drama, high-impact piece a team can plug in and trust.[7][10]
