Steady 6-4 Guard Who Brought Size and Spot-Up Threat to TSU
A'Torey Everett was a 6-foot-4 guard for Tennessee State in the 2016-17 season who played in 24 games and gave the Tigers length on the perimeter, shooting 57.1% from three, though on low volume, while averaging 2.4 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 9.7 minutes per game.[1][3] He stood out more as a role player than a box-score stuffer: TSU used him as a floor-spacer and situational contributor, and his best stretch included a 12-point game at Murray State and a 10-point outing against Covenant.[1] If you want a bigger guard who can add shooting touch and roster flexibility, Everett fit that mold; if you need a high-usage creator, his stat line suggests a complementary piece rather than a centerpiece.[1][2]
