McKinley Willardson is a versatile 6-1 forward with a strong high-school scoring/rebounding résumé, but he’s currently away from BYU on a mission
Willardson’s appeal is clear: in his high school seasons at Santiago, he produced big scoring-and-rebounding numbers, including 16 points and 13 rebounds per game in 2021, and BYU listed her as a 6-foot-1 forward with freshman experience before she stepped away for an 18-month LDS mission. That makes her more of a long-view fit than a current stat-sheet driver: a physically active, board-crashing forward whose best value is likely energy, toughness, and development upside once she returns to competition.
