Michael Hegewald brings veteran TE size and steady program fit to Dayton
Michael Hegewald has long profile as a Dayton tight end with prototypical size and versatility, listed at 6-foot-3/6-foot-4 and 233-245 pounds across his college stops; he was a Dayton rostered TE in 2017-2019 and later appeared at Central Michigan, suggesting a durable, adaptable path rather than a flashy stat line. He also earned PFL Academic Honor Roll recognition, which hints at the kind of dependable, coach-friendly personality teams like in the room. If you need a blocking-minded, experienced tight end who can fit multiple schemes and won’t need the spotlight to make an impact, he’s a solid football-fit bet.
