Prototypical Western Carolina linebacker with FCS size and upside
Damien Luce is a **6-1, 218-pound** linebacker for Western Carolina, a build that fits the modern FCS defense and suggests he can hold up against the run while still moving well in space. Western Carolina’s official roster lists him on the active football roster, but it does not provide recent stat totals, so the best read is that he is a depth/role player whose value will come from physicality, tackling range, and special-teams usefulness rather than headline numbers. If you want a linebacker with workable frame, room to develop, and clear roster flexibility, he is a sensible watch-list fit.[4][7]
