Sherreigh Nakoa-Chung is Portland State’s two-way ace powering the Vikings’ Big Sky push
In the 2026 season, Nakoa-Chung has been one of Portland State’s most valuable arms, earning her second career Big Sky Pitcher of the Week honor after a no-hit shutout of North Dakota and a 1.40 ERA across three appearances (10 innings) in that stretch; she also ranks second in the Big Sky with 52 strikeouts and has shown real workhorse value in the circle. Beyond the numbers, she brings competitive toughness and big-game poise, while also contributing as a run-scorer and bat in the lineup—an appealing fit for teams wanting a battle-tested, high-upside pitcher with two-way flexibility.
