Roc Alexander was a speed-and-playmaking Husky CB with a special-teams punch
In the 2001 season, Roc Alexander stood out for Washington with a 25.9-yard kickoff-return average, one of the best in the Pac-10 and sixth nationally, while also producing multiple special-teams scores and showing rare straight-line speed. He missed much of the 2002 season with a shoulder injury, but Washington described him as a fast, veteran corner with excellent closing speed and a knack for making momentum-flipping plays. If a team wants an aggressive defensive back who can change field position and bring juice on special teams, Alexander fits the bill.
