Darien Irby brings veteran safety production to Morgan State
Darien Irby is a **physical, experienced safety** whose value shows up in the details: Morgan State’s roster notes multiple 7-tackle games in 2013, including strong all-around outings against Army and Robert Morris, which suggests he could handle run support and stay active near the ball. ESPN identifies him as a **Safety** for the Bears, reinforcing that his fit is about range, tackling, and reliability rather than flashy stats. Based on the available information, he looks like a **steady, assignment-sound defensive back** who would appeal to teams that want toughness and consistency.
