Desmond Johnson brings boundary versatility and a proven recruiting pedigree to WKU’s secondary
Desmond Johnson entered Western Kentucky as a three-star defensive back with an 81 composite rating from 247Sports, and his value is tied to being a long, physical, multi-role defender who has been trusted across DB alignments in his career. His 5-11, 180-pound frame and defensive back versatility make him a fit for a system that wants flexibility rather than just a pure cover corner. For a roster, he’s the kind of player who can add depth, experience, and special-teams toughness more than flashy headline stats.
