steady, scrappy corner with starter pedigree
Cedric Alvis has the profile of a reliable, physical cornerback for Missouri State, noted as the team’s returning starter at left corner and a three-time letterman in the 2008 season[2]. In the 2008 season, he posted 50 total tackles, 39 solo stops, and a team-high 8 pass breakups, which points to a defender who competes at the catch point and isn’t shy about run support[2]. At 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds, he brings grit and experience more than prototype size, so he fits best in a system that values toughness, instincts, and proven production over measurables[2].
