Fordham walk-on guard who gave the Rams reliable depth and a steady bench presence
In the 2017 season, Thomas Sanchez was a 5-foot-9 guard for Fordham who appeared in 15 games, averaged 0.4 points, and peaked with five points and a three-pointer against Saint Joseph’s[1][3]. His value was less about box-score fireworks and more about being a dependable, experienced walk-on who understood the system, accepted his role, and gave the Rams emergency backcourt depth without drama[1][2]. If your team needs instant offense, he is not the headline act; if you value maturity, effort, and a low-maintenance teammate, that’s the lane he fit[1][2].
