In the 2024 season, Jimmy Pouba was fourth on Valparaiso with 51 tackles, added 2 tackles for loss, and led the Beacons with 7 pass breakups, showing a linebacker who can finish plays and disrupt passing lanes.[9] He also posted a 10-tackle game against Marist in 2024, a sign of a high-motor defender who shows up in big moments.[5] Beyond the box score, he’s been recognized for his academic consistency and was named a CSC Academic All-District honoree in 2025, which points to maturity, reliability, and a steady fit for a program that values discipline and effort.[6]
