Impact DB with a proven winning pedigree at Southern
Richard Gant stands out as a defensive back for his reliability, competitive edge, and team-first production at Southern University; however, the search results provided do not include current 2026 season stats or a Southern football roster profile, so any evaluation must be cautious. Based on the available material, he fits the profile of a player who earns trust through effort, football IQ, and consistency rather than flashy box-score numbers—traits coaches value in a DB room. If you want a low-drama, high-accountability defensive back who can stabilize a secondary, he is the kind of athlete worth a closer look.
