Matthew Willis brings veteran linebacker value to Idaho
Matthew Willis is a seasoned Idaho linebacker whose value comes from experience, run-stopping toughness, and a steady role in the Vandal defense. In Idaho’s 2023 linebacker preview, he earned the starting nod at the Will spot, a sign coaches trusted his grasp of the scheme and dependable motor. He fits best with teams that want an inside-out defender who can handle physical football, communicate well, and play with consistency rather than flash.
