Anete Klintsone brings veteran UC Irvine guard savvy and shot-making touch
Anete Klintsone’s UC Irvine profile points to a guard with real scoring pop and playmaking feel, including a 9.0 points-per-game season with 80 assists and 31 steals in 2011-12, plus a standout ability to stretch the floor; her earlier international stat line also shows efficient free-throw shooting and three-point range. A notable differentiator is toughness: she played through a wrist injury late in her UCI career, which adds a gritty, battle-tested edge. She looks like the kind of guard who can stabilize a team with skill, composure, and perimeter threat.
