San Diego State’s Mia Rodriguez adds speed, energy, and run creation
In the 2025 season, Mia Rodriguez was a freshman pinch-runner for San Diego State who appeared in 44 games and scored 16 runs, a strong indicator that her value is tied to speed, situational awareness, and pressure on defenses rather than volume at-bats. She looks like a fit for teams that need a high-energy role player who can change innings on the bases, with a local background, commitment to pre-physical therapy, and a team-first profile that suggests reliability and buy-in.[1]
