Emma Gilkerson brings veteran pop and run production to Youngstown State
In the 2026 season, Emma Gilkerson emerged as a middle-of-the-order catalyst for Youngstown State, earning Horizon League Player of the Week after batting .529 with 9 hits, 2 homers and 9 RBIs in a 4-1 week; for the season, she hit .378 with a 1.136 OPS and 30 RBIs. A proven transfer from Cleveland State, she had already shown all-league caliber pop in 2025, and her value goes beyond numbers: she brings experience, clutch contact, and lineup stability at catcher/infielder. If your team wants a tough, productive senior with postseason pedigree, she’s a very clean fit.
