Damien Boone brings size, deep-threat pop to Northwestern State’s receiver room
Damien Boone is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound wideout from Stonewall, Louisiana, and Northwestern State has described him as a two-way impact player with true vertical-play ability; his high school résumé included 11 catches for 406 yards and 6 touchdowns as a senior, plus 14 career scores on 25 receptions. In the 2026 season, he’s an intriguing fit if you want a physical receiver with length, speed, and upside rather than a polished stat-sheet star—think mismatch potential, not empty calories. The biggest draw is his knack for big plays, which is exactly the kind of trait that can tilt a room.
