D.J. Shaw brings disruptive, high-effort trench production to Northwestern State
D.J. Shaw profiles as a physical defensive lineman who has already shown proven production and playmaking traits, including a 56-tackle season with 3 sacks, 7 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and 15 quarterback hits at Northwestern State. That kind of backfield disruption suggests a player who wins with effort, leverage, and timing rather than empty flash, and it makes him the type of front-seven piece coaches can trust in run fits and pressure situations. If you want a DL who can affect plays, not just occupy space, Shaw is worth a close look.
