steady floor general with a history of winning plays
Godwin Boahen is a reliable, defense-minded guard whose value goes beyond box-score pop: UIC’s own bio describes him as a true point guard who defends well, stretches the floor with 3-point shooting, and gets downhill with a lightning-quick first step. In his final UIC season (2019-20), he played all 35 games, averaged 10.2 points and 4.1 rebounds, and finished his UIC career with 1,420 points, 367 assists, and 145 steals. If you want a composed veteran who can organize an offense and bring edge on both ends, he fits the bill.
