Rece Verhoff brings a proven leg and high-floor reliability to Dayton’s kicking game
Verhoff is a calm, repetition-driven specialist whose biggest differentiators are range, consistency, and mental simplicity: he described a routine built around keeping kicks “simple,” said he feels comfortable out to about 60 yards, and has recent game success on long field goals and extra points. In 2023, he made 14 of 19 field goals and all 40 PATs for Marshall, and he later added a 57-yard make for North Carolina, showing real game-day range.
