Cal Jillson brings proven production, a disruptive edge, and a bounce-back story at DE
Cal Jillson is a seasoned defensive end with a strong track record at Southeast Missouri State, highlighted by 66 tackles in 2001 and 25 tackles with 4 tackles for loss in 2003, showing he can win with both activity and backfield disruption.[1] His profile is especially interesting because he played through a knee injury that required offseason surgery in 2002, which adds context: this is a player with toughness, resilience, and a return-to-form arc rather than just raw box-score production.[1] He looks like a fit for a team that values effort, experience, and dependable edge play over flash.[1]
