Jameel Dumas brings proven Syracuse linebacker production and old-school toughness
In his Syracuse career, Jameel Dumas was a high-impact linebacker who piled up 179 tackles and earned All-America recognition, which tells you he wasn’t just around the ball — he lived there. His game was built on production, physicality, and reliability, though his career also carried a real injury backdrop, including knee issues that disrupted his finish. If you want a linebacker with proven instincts, playmaking resume, and proven Orange pedigree, Dumas is the kind of tone-setter who fits a defense that values violent tackling and leadership.
