Veteran UNLV run-stuffer with a nose for chaos
In the 2024 season, Kolo Uasike was a returning Super Senior and three-year starter for UNLV, valued as a sometimes-dominant presence in the middle of the defensive line. His differentiators are experience, interior leverage, and proven playmaking in key moments—most notably a game-sealing interception against San Jose State in 2019 and a fumble recovery against Iowa State in 2021. He looks like a fit for a defense that wants a tough, physical, high-motor DL who can clog gaps and bring veteran steadiness.
