Scholarship-Capped OL Anchor for App State
Ivan Reyes, a 63-inch offensive lineman for Appalachian State, earned a scholarship after starting as a walk-on and playing all 14 games in the 2019 season, serving as the backup center and punt-protection starter[1][5]. His differentiator lies in his 'No Excuses' mountain-forged intensity and elite leadership, famously rallying teammates during App State’s 2022 College GameDay intro—one of the program’s greatest moments[3]. While he graduated in Fall 2024 and is no longer an active player, his legacy as a resilient, scholarship-earned anchor makes him a perfect fit for teams valuing grit, walk-on-to-star development, and high-intensity personality over raw stats[2][7]. Care about Reyes because he embodies the 'yell like hell' spirit that turns underdogs into champions[4].
