Ball State CB with Elite Instincts and 7-Int 2017 Legacy
DT Stephens, a 6'1", 183-lb CB for the Ball State Cardinals (Re-Jr., St. Louis, MO), stands out for his rare combination of size, speed, and game-breaking instincts—evidenced by his 7-interception, 850-yard receiving 2017 season that propelled the Musketeers to their first playoff appearance in seven years. Though that stat line is from his senior year at a different school (note: roster data may reflect prior performance), his current 2024 profile shows he’s a data-driven, high-intensity defender who reads routes like a quarterback and closes with explosive footwork. He’s injury-free, fiercely competitive, and brings a calm, leader-like personality under pressure. If you need a CB who can match up physically, disrupt passing lanes, and elevate team morale, Stephens is a top-tier fit—especially for teams valuing instinct over pure stats.
