Gunner Gilmore is a sneaky-useful Air Force bullpen arm with strikeout touch
In the 2025 season, Air Force RHP Gunner Gilmore appeared in eight relief outings, logged 16.0 innings, and struck out 17 while posting six scoreless appearances, including a college debut with two Ks and no hits or runs allowed against Navy. The righty showed real swing-and-miss ability with a season-high four strikeouts in 2.1 innings at Fresno State and a three-inning, no-run gem at Wright State, while also earning Academic All-Mountain West honors. He looks like the kind of disciplined, high-upside reliever who fits a staff that values competitiveness, command, and low-drama innings.
