Standout Broncos CB with NFL Pedigree (2017 MAC Star)
Sam Beal, a 6-2 physical cornerback from Western Michigan, earned Second-Team All-MAC honors in 2017 with elite ball skills and coverage instincts, totaling 27 tackles and 1 pass deflection before forgoing his senior year to enter the NFL Draft as a top CB prospect for the Giants. His length, speed, and tenacity made him a differentiator against big-play receivers, though a brief pro career was hampered by injuries; now tragically missing since July 2025, his college tape showcases NFL-ready traits ideal for teams needing shutdown corners.
