Elite High School DT with Explosive Power, Now a Veteran Arkansas Razorback
Byran Jones is a **veteran defensive tackle** for the Arkansas Razorbacks who entered college as the **No. 2 recruit in Arkansas** and **No. 16 DT nationally** (247Sports rating: 92) with **significant size, explosive off-ball speed, and elite strength** [5][9]. While his current 2026 game stats aren't publicly updated in recent sources, his **career high school/intro college profile** shows **118 tackles, 20 sacks, and 28 TFLs**, proving he's a **high-intensity, sack-producing interior disruptor** [7]. His **differentiator** is his **rare combination of 6'3"/217lb explosiveness and raw power**, making him a **natural fit for teams needing a physical, pass-rushing DT** who can dominate inside [5][7]. No known injury history limits his availability, and his **recruiting intensity and coachability** (former Arkansas Razorback coach endorsement) suggest **strong personality traits** for team culture [7].
