Alabama TE Jay Lindsey: Big frame, depth-chart climb, and still plenty of upside
In the 2025 season, Jay Lindsey was a low-volume but efficient part of Alabama’s offense, finishing with 2 catches for 7 yards; in 2024, he had 1 catch for 5 yards, and his current profile lists him at 6-5 and 255 pounds with redshirt-freshman-to-sophomore upside. He projects as a developmental tight end with SEC size, a solid frame for in-line work, and room to grow into a more complete receiving threat. If a team wants a tough, long-term TE bet rather than an instant stat-sheet star, he’s worth the look.
