Ashton Pannell brings pro-style size and pocket-passer upside to the 2026 QB class
Ashton Pannell is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound Class of 2026 quarterback from Millikan High School in Long Beach, listed by ESPN as a pocket passer, which suggests a game built on structure, timing, and field vision rather than pure scramble production.[1] His size gives him a foundation to operate from the pocket, and his profile fits programs looking for a developmental passer who can grow into a system that values rhythm, accuracy, and decision-making.[1]
