Efficient, versatile Wright State forward with a proven two-way edge
In the 2024-25 season context available, Jerran Young stands out as an efficient Wright State forward who has historically blended scoring touch, rebounding, and defensive activity; his career numbers at Wright State show 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game with a 50.5% field-goal rate[1][4]. He also brought real disruption on defense in his Wright State years, including a 2013-14 Horizon League defensive rating mark of 87.92 and a background that includes being named his Texas district’s Defensive Player of the Year, which hints at toughness and competitiveness beyond the box score[11][10]. If you want a forward who finishes efficiently, competes hard, and gives you a dependable all-around presence, he looks like a solid fit.
