FAU’s veteran linebacker with steady, coachable value
Mason Hamilton is a junior linebacker for Florida Atlantic, but public stat sheets don’t show much on-field production, so his value is better read through role and profile than box-score pop[1]. At 6-foot-ish and from Lighthouse Point, Florida, he brings local familiarity, defensive depth, and the kind of blue-collar flexibility coaches like in a linebacker room[1]. The big question for a team is fit: he looks more like a dependable, system-aware piece than a headline-grabbing playmaker, which can still be exactly what a defense needs[1].
