veteran Elon DB with a proven ball-hawk résumé
Anthony Hambright is listed as a defensive back for Elon, but the most concrete publicly available profile ties him to his earlier high-school production: in the 2012 season, he posted 79 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions and 11 pass breakups, which screams active, disruptive, play-making defense. That stat line suggests a twitchy, physical DB who attacks the ball and can flip momentum. For a team, he looks like the kind of defender who brings urgency, toughness and turnover juice rather than just coverage depth.
