Uhlon Rich brings Western Illinois a veteran backfield presence
Uhlon Rich is a seasoned, multi-year Leathernecks running back who gives Western Illinois a reliable, physical option with real program familiarity. The clearest differentiator is experience: he has been on the roster long enough to know the grind, and that usually shows up in pass protection, ball security, and practice consistency even when raw stat lines are modest. He looks like a fit for a team that values toughness, depth, and a back who can handle dirty work. Publicly available current-season stat detail was limited in the available material, so the best read is that he is more about dependable role value than headline-grabbing production.
