Versatile Pitt DB with QB Roots and Explosive Athleticism
Hudson Primus enters Pitt as a redshirt junior defensive back, but his background as a high-school quarterback gives him a useful offensive mindset, field vision, and comfort processing the game on the fly. His recruiting profile and athlete notes point to strong athletic traits, including verified speed markers, while his Pitt bio shows he has not yet appeared in a game, so the tape-based evaluation is still limited. For a team, he looks like a developmental, multi-dimensional defender with upside if he translates his athleticism and football IQ to the back end.
