Iowa State’s Tobechi Okoli: Big, disruptive edge upside with injury-limited 2023 tape
Okoli is a 6-foot-5, 285-pound defensive end who brings rare size for the edge and has been viewed as a developmental power defender with upside after transferring from Auburn in 2023.[7][11][14] In the 2023 season, he played in three games, made one tackle against UNI, and then missed the rest of the year because of injury, so the intrigue is more about traits than box-score production right now.[7][10] If your team wants length, physicality, and a player with rotational edge potential once healthy, he fits; if you need proven weekly production today, the resume is still pretty light.[7][14]
