McLellan is the kind of bat every lineup wants: production, versatility, and clutch pop
In the 2026 season, Patrick McLellan played and started all 58 games for Southern Indiana, hitting .347 with 59 runs, 15 doubles, five home runs, and 49 RBI, while also ranking among the team leaders in multi-hit and multi-RBI games.[9][12][15] The appeal goes beyond the box score: he missed the final 13 games of the 2025 season with an injury, then came back as a durable senior who can fill multiple spots and still hit in the heart of the order, which is exactly the kind of low-drama, high-upside fit coaches love.[9][4]
