Wesley Clemmons brings steady guard production and disruptive defense to SIU
Clemmons is a reliable backcourt piece for Southern Illinois, with career-level production around 4.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game, and he has shown he can chip in scoring bursts when needed. His calling card is two-way utility rather than volume offense: he has logged multi-steal games and contributed in balanced SIU wins, suggesting solid defensive activity, composure and willingness to fit into a team-first role. For a program needing a guard who competes, defends and complements scorers, he looks like a practical fit.
