Veteran Spartan DB with Experience, But Limited Statistical Footprint
Skyler McKnight is a San Jose State defensive back whose profile points more to experience and depth than eye-popping production: available stat records show he played two seasons for San José State but did not record a tackle in the listed college stats. He still stands out as a familiar piece in the secondary, which can matter for communication, alignment, and trust in coverage. If you need a proven ballhawk with a big stat line, he’s not that; if you want a steady, system-fit defensive back who knows the program and can compete for snaps, he’s worth a look.
